Elder
Rod has been a member of Immanuel Bible Church since 1982 and has served as an Elder, a worship leader, and Sunday school teacher for many years. Additionally, Rod was Awana Commander for 11 years and was IBC’s curriculum director. Rod is a 1977 graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and is retired from FCA US LLC (Chrysler Corp).
Rod and his wife Ellen have a son with grandchildren and a daughter who is a social worker with Hospice in Southeast Michigan. Most of Rod’s free time is spent as Camp President and Area Director for Gideon’s International, but also enjoys tinkering with old cars, woodworking and shooting sports.
