Pastor Jeff Heim, his wife Kim, and their children are Michigan natives from the Lincoln Park area. Jeff attended William Tyndale College and then received his Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as the lead pastor at Friendship Baptist Church in Lincoln Park for nearly 20 years before leaving to pursue a PhD in Biblical Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Given the opportunity to continue his studies via distance learning, the family moved to Cape Coral, Florida, near friends and where Jeff served as a hospice chaplain. Though he is still working on his PhD, Jeff felt God leading him back to the pastorate and back to Michigan.
