Thanks to the Nelsons, on July 28th, we are planning to do some fun water activities at the lake as well as other activities available for those who are not fans of getting wet:). We will also include a time of fellowship with dinner and a bonfire!
Parents: Please let me know how many of your teens plan to attend this event so we can get a headcount in advance!
Also, we do have life-jackets available for those who decide to participate in the water activities such as boating, tubing, etc. on the lake!
Here is the basic info:
- This is outdoor activities so plan accordingly
- DO NOT use GPS to find the house, it will send you to wrong location!!!
- We have limited parking
- Bring own chair for around the bonfire
- If needed, bring sun lotion for lake and/or bug spray for bonfire
- Bring shoes to walk to lake in
- Nelson’s will provide hotdogs & fixins’, water bottles, plates-napkins-silverware, and s’mores for dessert
- Kids encouraged to bring a side dish to share (salads, fruits, chips)
- No Bathroom at the lake
- We will have outdoor games (and bonfire) available at the house for those who prefer to not go to lake
Directions to The Nelson’s:
- Main St./M-52 North out of Chelsea
- Waterloo Road – turn Left (or West)
- Travel over 3 miles … go past Cassidy Lake Rd… past Bush Rd… past Guinan Rd.
- On the Left (or south) side of the road you will see a sign post with a bunch of green & white house number signs below a ‘private drive’ sign named “Sugarloaf Ln.”
- Turn Left (or south) onto Sugarloaf Ln.
